• Upon Admission, patients/relatives were given Philhealth forms to accomplish.
• Within the confinement period, Philhealth staff will notify or inform the patient/relative to accomplish the Philhealth forms so there will be no delay during the discharge date. This includes asking them if they are going to use Philhealth or if they have Philhealth.
• Philhealth staff will verify the patient’s eligibility, to make sure that the patient is eligible. If not, will ask them for other documents or will make them visit Philhealth office to update their record.
• Once the final diagnosis is available in the system, will correctly assign the ICD 10 for diagnosis and CPT for procedures. These will depend on the amount of deduction be given to the patient.
• Upon submission of documents, Philhealth staff will make sure all necessary information was completely filled and signed by both patient/relative and attending physician. If all are properly submitted will notify the billing department of the benefit deduction of the patient.
